Partnership working
We have enjoyed many successful partnerships with private enterprise, government and other housing associations on a range of different projects.
We have extensive experience of working with local authority partners in both urban and rural locations within London and the South East.
We work with local authorities to deliver large, phased redevelopments of failing local authority estates, whether through stock transfer (the transfer of council-owned housing to a housing association) or the phased demolition and transferral of residents to new homes we have built.
We also have a long track record of working closely with private developers to help them deliver their affordable housing obligations as part of Section 106 (S106) agreements. We have worked on projects ranging from small developments to large phased brownfield redevelopments, some of which have required significant political input.
We have extensive experience of managing high-density mixed-tenure housing and undertaking community regeneration initiatives, and jointly develop proposals for project delivery and long-term management. On projects where we are able to develop bids jointly with major developers, we can take equal responsibility for the selection, appointment and funding of consultant teams and pre-funding costs.
