Southern Space

Southern Space is a new company set up by Southern Housing Group in May 2005 as a fully-owned subsidiary. The aim of Southern Space is to develop homes for sale on the open market, to work on mixed tenure developments with other members of the Group and to develop stand-alone sites independently.

Southern Space is looking to purchase sites on the open market to develop for outright sale throughout Southern Housing Group’s regions, from the Isle of Wight, Kent and Berkshire to London and Thames Gateway – both independently and in partnership. Southern Space is currently working on homes for sale in London, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire and the Isle of Wight.

Southern Space is currently developing homes for sale in the following areas:

  • Tollgate Court, Croydon - 14 flats aimed at professional people.
  • Crabtree Road, Crawley - 14 flats designed for first-time buyers.
  • Hook Road, Surbiton - 9 flats aimed at professional people.
  • Ryde, Isle of Wight - 50 homes, including 46 flats and 4 houses

Work with us

Southern Space is actively seeking third-party land, primarily within London and the Home Counties. We have a flexible approach to acquisition and we are interested in plots in excess of half-an-acre. Vacant possession and planning permission are not necessities and we readily seek to investigate a host of land opportunities from immediately available sites to medium-term investment projects.

Backed by Southern Housing Group Ltd, Southern Space is able to negotiate quickly and tailor each land transaction to suit your needs. We are willing to consider every opportunity.

If you have a site you wish to discuss, please write or send us an email.
