Audit Commission inspection
Southern Housing Group had a short notice inspection in January 2009. We found the inspection to be a focused and largely positive experience and we welcome the findings.
The Audit Commission’s final report, including the assessment of our prospects for improvement, was published on 19 July.
The inspectors found that overall we provided reasonable services with strengths outweighing weaknesses in resident involvement and access and customer care.
Strengths and weaknesses were judged as being in balance in the areas of repairs reporting, income collection, diversity and value for money.
