Awards celebrate 10 years of the Foundation
Southern Housing Group Foundation has reached its 10th anniversary. Since 1998, we have been funding projects for residents, working with partner agencies, backing individual residents and supporting community groups because we believe that there is much more to being a good landlord than just bricks and mortar.
To celebrate your achievements, we are launching a new set of awards for the residents and staff who have helped make this possible.
Prizes of between £100 and £250 will be awarded to individual residents and resident groups who can demonstrate a lasting impact or benefit from the use of the grant funding or support they have had from us or our partners. There will be an award for each of the following categories:
- younger people
- older people
- making a difference to the community
- outstanding contribution to the community (resident or group)
- outstanding contribution to the community (a member of staff who is not part of the Foundation team)
- Sir Ashley Bramall award winner (one per region)

All entries will be considered by a panel made up of the Foundation’s Director, a regional director and a resident Group Board member.
We will be inviting the residents we shortlist to a special awards ceremony being held in March 2009.
