Our subsidiaries
Southern Housing Group Limited is a charitable housing association. One of the largest housing associations in the South East, we have four subsidiaries, each with its own Board of Directors reporting to the main Group Board.
Southern Home Ownership Ltd is a non-charitable arm that provides a range of low-cost home ownership and intermediate housing options.
South Wight Housing Association Ltd (SWHA) is the largest provider of housing on the Isle of Wight, owning and managing 3, 000 properties. As a result of the Group's Housing Corporation Preferred Programme Partner status, SWHA is also a major developer of affordable housing on the Island.
James Butcher Housing Association Ltd (JBHA) provides the full range of Southern Housing Group services. Specialising in the provision of sheltered accommodation, JBHA owns and manages over 4,200 homes along the M4 corridor.
Southern Space Ltd develops homes for outright sale. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Southern Housing Group and all profits generated by its activity are used to provide much-needed independent funding for other Group activities.
