Income recovery

Income Recovery Team

Within our Resident Services Team we have two Income Recovery Officers who can visit you in your home to help you:

  • arrange a payment plan, if you are in rent arrears
  • complete Housing Benefit forms and challenge Housing Benefit
  • signpost you to an agency which can help with managing your debts

Please contact the Service Centre on 0300 303 1771, option 2 or email us on Service.Income@shgroup.org.uk to request a visit from your Income Recovery Officer.

If you are experiencing difficulties in paying your rent, please contact us as soon as possible on 0300 303 1771. If you fail to keep to any payment agreement, we will take formal action against you which could end up with you losing your home.
