Paying Your Rent

You must continue to pay your rent up to the end of your tenancy, even if you hand in your keys early.  If you owe any money you must pay this before you leave your home.

Utility Suppliers

You must inform the water, gas and electricity suppliers that you are moving out. They will require final meter readings and your forwarding address.

Housing Benefit and Council Tax

If you claim Housing Benefit and/or Council Tax Benefit it is your responsibility to inform your Local Authority or you may miss out on payments.

The Property

It is your responsibility to remove all belongings or rubbish from the property and repair or replace any items that have been damaged or removed. If this is not done we may charge you for extra cleaning or outstanding repairs.
