Location: London – Fleet House Times: One day a week (either Mon, Tue, Wed or Thu). Flexible hours. Duration: 3-12 months
About this role:
You’ll be working alongside our Volunteer Manager to create a project to support our older customers. You’ll gain experience in an office environment, speaking with customers and other professional organisations such as colleges and universities.
What you'll be responsible for:
Help set up and monitor surveys
Help research and write short reports
Support customers face to face, and via email and phone
Help with booking visits for volunteers
Supporting customers with other volunteering opportunities
Speaking with universities and colleges about supporting the project
General admin including recording data on spreadsheets
Assist with promoting the project, including delivering leaflets and posters
What you need to know:
An induction, training and ongoing support will be provided
This role is appropriate for anyone aged 16 or over.
You’ll be based in our Fleet Office in Farringdon, which has full disabled access.
Skills and experience needed:
Good IT skills
Clear level of spoken English
Good level of literacy
