Parking space availability and any restrictions on parking varies, depending on where you live. This information only applies to shared car parks that we own and does not apply to private driveways or on street parking where they are owned by the Local Authority.

On many of our schemes and estates you can only park your car with a parking permit. This often also means that parking controls are in place and those who are not displaying a permit may get a parking fine.

If you would like to know about parking where you live, including costs and availability, you can:

  • Complete a parking permit request form online below
  • Contact us

Once we receive your enquiry we will get back to you within five working days.

For us to issue you with a parking permit, please make sure that:

  • The vehicle is registered in your name
  • The vehicle is registered to your home and you have a copy of the V5C (often called a log book) to show us before we issue the permit

If you lease a car or have use of a company car, we will request proof that this vehicle has been issued to you. All we need is a letter from your employer to confirm this.

FAQs

Where possible, we always try to give priority to households that have a Blue Badge. If there is not any parking available, Blue Badge holders will be put at the top of the waiting list. If you have a Blue Badge, you may also want to check with your local council to see if there are any other parking options available for you whilst you wait for a bay. Parking is allocated depending on where you live. In some places, the parking is allocated to properties with a limit on how many vehicles each household can park whilst in other places, parking is operated on a first come first served basis. Before parking your car, please do check with us to see if there are any parking restrictions. If there is not a space available when you get in touch with us, it may be possible to add you to a waiting list. Bays only become available when someone returns their current space so there may be a long wait. However, when a bay does become available, we will get in touch with you.

Costs vary depending on your area and the type of parking available. If you are unsure on how much it costs, you can still fill out the parking permit request form online and we will get in touch to let you know. Or, you can contact our Customer Services Team on 01403 220440.

Some schemes and estates have visitors parking. Often, the visitors parking space still requires a permit or has time restrictions. To check what arrangements are in place for where you live, please get in touch with us.

It’s not always possible to park commercial vehicles in our car parks but this often depends on the size, type and local parking restrictions. It’s best to discuss this with us directly as it does vary depending on the type of parking and whether there is a managing agent.

It’s usually possible to park a motorbike but like cars, they may require a permit.
