This programme focuses on maximising personal effectiveness, self-awareness and leadership skills. By building practical foundation management and supervisory skills, this programme helps colleagues to develop themselves for current or potential management roles within the business. We’re also developing leadership programmes across the business.
We encourage regular job shadowing for those who want to know what it’s like to work in a certain role or area of the business.
This could be because they’re contemplating a career move, or simply that they want to get a better understanding of how that role or team operates.
Job shadowing involves working closely with another colleague from either the same team, a different internal department or even an external organisation to learn more about different job roles and responsibilities, and to gain valuable experience.
