The Group's partnership with Liz Earle continues to grow, with the beauty brand recently helping us transform the outside of one of our Isle of Wight schemes.
In February, we announced a new partnership on the Island with global beauty brand Liz Earle. The first phase of this partnership saw the company supporting our young people living at Atkinson House in Newport, helping them transform their communal garden and teaching them about horticulture.
On 23 March, we continued our partnership and transformed the patio area at Byrnhill Grove, a combined sheltered and registered care home in Ventnor.
Liz Earle staff, supported by Day Activities Co-ordinator Elaine Sheldrake and Community Partnerships Officer Mark Meredith, cleaned the area, installed a water feature, raised planters and plants, and put up some garden furniture.
Mark, who has been spearheading the partnership, said: “There will be more plants to come in the next few weeks as the garden centre’s new stock arrives, and these will be added to complement the existing area. Our relationship with Liz Earle continues to blossom, and we’re looking forward to carrying out more joint projects with them in the near future.”
