Important update to our recent customer letter about rent and service charges
We sent out a rent and service charge information letter to all customers this week with information on service charges. Unfortunately, we left out an important piece of information so we are resending the letters.
In the meantime please note that if you have received our letter headed and dated 28/05/2019 “Important information about your rent and charges”, it should have also contained the following information:
Please submit your new rent and service charge amounts to your online journal. If you are unsure how to do this, please speak to your work coach. We will then receive notification and confirm the amounts. Failure to do this may delay payments and your account could go into debt.
If window cleaning is included in your service charge, you will need to advise Universal Credit if you live in a basement or ground floor property as this may not be covered.
Please note: If you claim Universal Credit that you will not be able to upload your July rent review letter onto your online journal until 1st July 2019. Please make sure you add this after this date to make sure your entitlement is changed.
