We use your personal information to assist you to find an intermediate rent tenancy.
We consider that the information we hold about you is information you would reasonably expect us to hold. It includes your contact details, financial details (including external credit reference checks), lifestyle details, family details, physical and mental health details, immigration status, financial information, landlord reference checks (rent arrears, anti-social behaviour), notices served (from previous landlords), criminal offences, previous addresses, passport details, car registration and insurance for parking management, driving licence details, next of kin, powers of attorney, NI number, support workers, date of birth, religion, sexual orientation, and race.
We keep this information for three years after the end of the tenancy.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties including utility companies, Rentshield, deposit protection scheme, parking control companies, managing agents, police, survey providers, and Allay.
We may obtain your information from other sources including Rightmove, estate agents, Rentshield (previous landlord and employer checks), Mutual Exchange for landlord references, police and support workers.
Your data protection rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold that relates to you.
If you can show that information we hold about you is incorrect or misleading you have the right to have it corrected.
You can ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances, where we do not require it to meet a legal obligation. You can also request or restriction of processing so that your records are maintained beyond our usual retention period.
You have the right to object to processing on the grounds that it causes you damage or distress and the right to take away a copy of your personal data in electronic format in certain circumstances.
