We process your personal information to uphold performance our contract with you and comply with our legal obligations. We will use your information to provide consultation on estimated cost of works for statutory purposes and to verify customer satisfaction following the work to carry out repairs and emergency response and conduct profiling for repair to suit your individual needs.
We consider that the information we hold about you is information you would reasonably expect us to have. It includes name and contact details, UDC alert, alternative addresses (for leaseholders), transaction history, finances relating to the block's reserve fund, mobility issues, occupational therapist reports, first language, visual impairment requirements, date of birth, household members and ages, ethnicity.
We keep this information for a period of 25 years as guarantees around repairs and investment projects may be in force for that period. Tenant personal data is not purged from property files when projects finish.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties including consultants, contractors, professional teams, sub-contractors, and occupational therapists.
Your data protection rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold that relates to you.
If you can show that information we hold about you is incorrect or misleading you have the right to have it corrected.
You can ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances, where we do not require it to meet a legal obligation. You can also request or restriction of processing so that your records are maintained beyond our usual retention period.
You have the right to object to processing on the grounds that it causes you damage or distress and the right to take away a copy of your personal data in electronic format in certain circumstances.
