Looking for a home
Making lives better
Extra care offers additional support to help our sheltered customers maintain their independence in their own homes. Our trained and dedicated onsite carers will provide you with care and support that changes as your needs change.
With extra care, you'll receive care and support each week to help you with things like getting up, showering and getting dressed, preparing meals, and other daily living and social activities. You can also access our 24-hour emergency response service.
You'll be involved in designing your own care plan, which will prioritise your needs, wishes, and personal choices. Social services, healthcare professionals, and family members can also be involved in planning your care.
If extra care is not available to you, you can still access the high-level quality services available through our at home or outreach services.
Our at home care service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and can be accessed through a social services or NHS referral, or by requesting and funding this independently.
