Universal Credit

Benefits are changing and if you receive Housing Benefit, Job Seekers’ Allowance, Income Support, Employment and Support Allowance or Tax Credits then you need to be prepared.

Universal Credit will pay all these benefits in one monthly payment direct to you. This means your Housing Benefit won’t come directly to us anymore and you’ll need to arrange to pay your rent monthly.

Please note: If you claim Universal Credit that you will not be able to upload your July rent review letter onto your online journal until 1st July 2019. Please make sure you add this after this date to make sure your entitlement is changed.
