Whether you’ve just moved into your home with us, had a change of circumstances or if you’re just struggling to make your money stretch to the end of the month, we can help. If you are struggling to pay your rent, please contact our Customer Accounts team on 01403 220440. If you need further assistance, our Community Investment Team provide a range of support and our skilled officers can help with the following.
Financial support:
- We can help you find out what benefits you may be entitled to
- Challenge benefit decisions you think are incorrect
- Save money on utilities and other household expenses
- Apply for grants to help with essential household items
- Understand your rights and access independent specialist debt advice

Digital support:
Together with We Are Digital we are offering remote training and support for residents who require the following:
Training and Confidence – Receive six+ hours of one-to-one remote digital skills training and confidence building. We are happy to help you access training, look for work, work from home, manage your finances, access our digital portal, connect with friends and family, do online shopping and much more.
Devices – Get a free tablet or chromebook* if eligible.
Internet Access – You may be eligible for ‘free data’ to enable you to access the internet - give us a call to find out more.

- Use of a professional online tool with coaching, links to training, CV support, skills assessments and job searching
- Access to hundreds of training courses to support your career development
- Employment webinars with Employment Specialists
- Access to six month paid work placements for residents to gain experience within Southern Housing
