2021 will see two changes to the price of energy tariffs. In August this year, all the major suppliers put their prices up by an average of £96 per year. This was mainly in response to the price cap level being raised by the regulator.
From October, suppliers will be able to increase prices again by up to 12% to a maximum of £1,277 for standard variable tariffs.
