I think someone is at risk, what should I do?
If you are concerned about someone based on the information you have read about safeguarding and you believe they may be a victim of abuse or neglect, you can do the following:
- If the person is in immediate danger, call the most appropriate emergency service on 999
- Contact your local authority’s Safeguarding department
- Speak to someone from Southern Housing Group about your concern
- If safe and appropriate to do so, ask the person if you can help them to get support
- Speak to someone’s GP
